Welcome to Our Village

It takes a village to raise a child & I'm raising 3.
I was scrolling through my news feed on Facebook last week when I encountered this story about a woman who left her two children in her car in Scottsdale, AZ while she went on a job interview because she didn't have anyone who could watch them for her. This story touched me on many levels. Obviously, it's sad but more than that, it could have been me... It HAS been me. She needs a village & I need my village mobilized. YOU are my village.

Asking for support is one of the things that I've been REALLY bad at doing. Raising 3 children solo, it's something that I'm going to have to get over. This video inspired this blog:

Jia did rejection therapy. I guess I'm doing support therapy? We can come up with a catchy name for it later. *giggle* The bottom line is I'm going to be asking you all for support and posting the progress of the minis here frequently. Support will take the form of connections (can you refer people to me or connect me with this resource that i require?), resources (will you send toys/clothes/books?), information (can we brainstorm how I can ...?), time (we're going to be in your neck of the woods. wanna hang out?) and, of course, cash (gifts are ALWAYS welcome!). :D
